Compliance with No Purchase Necessary Laws
Crypto Competitions are aware that offering services related to a competition will have to comply with various No Purchase Necessary Laws around the world.
These are laws in some countries that prohibit chance-based prize promotions (like competitions) from incentivising entrants to make a payment, complete a purchase, or provide other forms of consideration.
These laws exist in the U.S.A. and several other countries around the world, and while they differ from country to country, they generally state that if you a running a giveaway, sweepstakes, contest or any other type of prize competition where winners are determined by chance (like us), you cannot:
- Exclusively require people to make a purchase in order to enter your competition.
- Allow entrants to increase their chances of winning by making a purchase.
To comply with these various laws we must provide an “Alternate Method of Entry”
We can still ask users to enter our competitions by making a purchase as long as we offer a Free Alternate Method of Entry that has the same chance of winning as paid entrants.
Alternate Methods of Entry (AMOE) are free ways that users can enter competitions instead of making a purchase.
In the light of these laws we do offer a free entry alternative to purchasing tickets in the form of free postal entries. Ticket purchases are not mandatory and do not give people increased odds of winning our prize(s).
In consideration of this free alternative method of entry we undertake that our competitions are no longer in violation of No Purchase Necessary Laws.
FREE POSTAL ENTRY METHOD AND CONDITIONS
Postal Entry Method:
All our competitions can be entered by a postal entry route. To enter via this method the Entrant must first create a free account on our Website (if they do not already have one), and then send unenclosed hand written postcard via your countries postal service with your personal information so we can identify you stating:
Your Name
Your Address
Your Date of Birth
Your Contact Telephone Number
The email address used to create the free account on our Website.
A random ticket number will be allocated and emailed over to you confirming your ticket number which will then be displayed in the competition entry list.
Postal entrants will have an equal chance of winning using the postal entry method as those that have paid to enter. Each postcard must have a postal stamp. Requests for postal entries where the email address provided is not already associated with a free account on the Website will not be processed and will be discarded without notification.
Requests for postal entries where the competition has already sold out will not be processed.
Postal entries must be received at our address by 4pm UTC the day before the draw date, as advertised on the applicable competition page.
TERMS OF FREE POSTAL ENTRY:
Any postal entries received after the competition has drawn a winner will be invalid.
Free entries can only be allocated to active accounts.
All entries must be sent using a postage service.
Any entries received without a postal stamp will be invalid.
No hand delivered postal entries are valid
Any entry sent to any address other than the address below will be invalid.
Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified
Bulk entries in one envelope will not be accepted;
By entering the competition, you are confirming that you are eligible to enter and accept these terms and conditions
Your entry must be received by us prior to the Closing Date.
Entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the draw
